Featuring graphic displays and physical exhibits, the area will fully showcase the distinctive cultures, preferential cross-border trade policies and competitive industrial strengths of participating RCEP members. Dedicated booths will display premium specialty products from these economies, offering visitors a clear view of their industrial capabilities and trade advantages, according to Liu Feina, executive president of the Guangdong E-Business Association, a co-organizer of the 2026 CCEF.

Liu said that the new exhibition area aims to move beyond the one-way trade mindset of "Guangdong goes global."

"We want to create a regular setting for multilateral, bilateral, and win-win exchanges between Guangdong and other RCEP members," she explained.

Leveraging Guangdong's home-ground advantage as the host region, the area offers RCEP member countries a showcase window "where they can present their industries, policies and quality products to China's vast market, as well as to Guangdong's buyers and distribution channels," Liu said. She added that the debut of the RCEP exhibition area vividly reflects the growing economic and trade ties between Guangdong and other RCEP economies.

RCEP economies, which make up the world's largest free-trade bloc, are among the most accessible and fastest-growing nearby markets for Guangdong's sellers, according to Liu.

"Before Guangdong companies can go global, they must first learn to understand these markets," she said. "The exhibition area is not about spot sales It's about industrial and cultural exchange. We aim to build a regular venue for bilateral interaction and win-win cooperation."

In addition to the RCEP exhibition area, the 2026 CCEF will also host a cross-border e-commerce exchange event between Guangdong and other RCEP member countries on June 16.

Consulates general of RCEP member countries in Guangzhou, together with corporate representatives, will hold promotional exchanges and discussions with delegates from Guangdong's cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones, e-commerce platforms and e-commerce enterprises to advance cooperation and promote mutual development.
