Starting from October 11, the operation of the Guangzhou-Foshan-Zhaoqing Intercity Railway will be adjusted. Trains will not enter and leave the Guangzhou Railway Station to facilitate the construction of the Guangzhou-Zhanjiang High-speed Railway.

As the Guangzhou-Sanshui (Foshan) section of the Guangzhou-Maoming Railway is adjusted, the route of the Guangzhou-Foshan-Zhaoqing Intercity Railway is now from Zhaoqing Railway Station to Foshan West Railway Station.

Passengers from Zhaoqing and Foshan to Guangzhou can take the high-speed trains to Guangzhou South Railway Station at Zhaoqing East Railway Station and Foshan West Railway Station, or take the slow-speed trains at Zhaoqing Railway Station.

Furthermore, the Foshan Railway Station of the Guangzhou-Maoming Railway will suspend passenger services from October 11, and it will be upgraded and expanded into a high-speed railway station.
