Guangzhou has announced detailed arrangements for its 2026 Spring Festival flower fairs, with several districts introducing new formats and expanded activities to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

Haizhu District will launch a three-part flower fair, integrating traditional customs, local commerce, and modern waterfront attractions. The lineup includes:
- A riverside fair along Binjiang West Road (Baogang Avenue), offering flower shopping with views of the Pearl River.
- A Jiangnanxi business district fair, featuring interactive games and lively street activities to highlight the local festive atmosphere.
- An innovative waterfront fair spanning from the Canton Tower to the Pazhou Huangpu Stream. This section will feature five themed markets focusing on festive flowers, intangible cultural heritage crafts, and creative cultural products, each hosted by leading cultural-tourism enterprises.
Liwan District will hold its traditional flower fair from February 14 to February 17 (12:00 a.m.) on Liwan Road, a location deeply associated with local New Year memories. The fair will include 231 stalls selling potted plants, cut flowers, handicrafts, and charitable cultural items.

Yuexiu District will host the renowned Xihu Flower Fair from February 13 (8:30 a.m.) to February 17 (2:00 a.m.) on Xihu Road and Jiaoyu Road, lasting four days.
Tianhe District will organize its flower fair at Tianhe Sports Center during the same period (February 13, 8:30 a.m. to February 17, 2:00 a.m.). The event will feature 352 stalls, including 212 flower stalls, 100 handicraft stalls, 30 New Year goods stalls, and 10 peach blossom and goldfish stalls.

Through these diverse and immersive celebrations, Guangzhou aims to blend traditional Lingnan culture with contemporary attractions, creating vibrant waterfront and urban spaces that appeal to both local residents and international visitors during the Spring Festival.
