On the evening of September 22, a pipe organ concert featuring top musicians will be held at the Xinghai Concert Hall in Guangzhou, presenting works of J. S. Bach, Louis Vierne, Jean-Philippe Rameau, Cesar Franck, Gabriel Fauré and other famous composers.

Daniel Zaretsky from Russia, head of the Faculty of Organ and Harpsichord at the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire, will grace the first half of the concert with German, French, and British pipe organ works. His stylistically diverse repertoire includes David N. Johnson's "Trumpet Tune in D major", J. S. Bach's "Fantasia in G major, BWV 572", Percy Fletcher's "Festival Toccata" and many others.

The second half of the concert will feature more French repertoire presented by Jean-Baptiste Robin, one of the foremost organists of France and organist of the Royal Chapel at the Palace of Versailles. Audiences will enjoy Jean-Philippe Rameau's "Les Sauvages", Gabriel Fauré's "Après un rêve (After a dream)", Robin's "Chant du Ténéré (The Song of the Ténéré)" and more classical pieces.

In addition to the performances, the two masters will meet Guangzhou audiences at more sharing events! On September 22 at 15:00, Daniel Zaretsky will give a pre-performance musical introduction and share the Russian organ culture, while on September 23 at 10:00, Jean-Baptiste Robin will attend a sharing session.
